Celia Liberace - The Portrait

This three-day-intensive drawing course will guide students through the making of a portrait using red chalk and pencil. The weaving of classical and contemporary techniques offers a holistic approach to the practice of representing form. Fundamentals such as perspective, light, shadow, volume, and geometry intersect with Celia’s own methods of loosening and guiding both the mind and hand.
